During the time of Covid-19, when almost no direct research meetings could be arranged for interested scholars and students as everyone has to make an effort to stay home. LISA-LCWU (Laboratory for Interdisciplinary Statistical Analysis Lahore College for Women University Lahore or “stat labs”) had started to organize short courses and workshops to improve statistical skills and data literacy widely since start of the year in the campus.
LISA-LCWU has planned to shift the On-Campus workshop to Online – Workshop. In this regard, LISA-LCWU has arranged the workshop entitled: "Tidyverse for Data Science", on 20th – 28th July, 2020. Dr Asifa Kamal (Post-Doctorate, University of Southampton, UK), Associate Professor, Department of Statistics, is the resource person.
LISA-LCWU is organizing this workshop with the financial support from International Statistical Institute for the capacity building of women in data science.
