The Department of Gender and Development Studies signs MOU with White Ribbon Pakistan. Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Shagufta Naz was the chief guest of the ceremony
The ceremony was also attended by Prof. Dr. Muhammad Afzal, Dean of Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences, who shared his insights on the matter. The objectives of the MOU were explained by Mr. Omer Aftab, CEO of White Ribbon Pakistan, which include providing medical assistance for breast cancer at the dispensary of LCWU for the students and faculty as part of their Pink Ribbon Campaign. The event was led by Dr. Uzma Ashiq Khan, the in-charge of the Department of Gender and Development Studies, with the opening remarks shared by Prof. Dr. Farkhanda Manzoor, Director ORIC, LCWU.
