Lahore College for Women University (LCWU) proudly presents its International Language Hub—an inclusive and dynamic center dedicated to promoting multilingualism, cross-cultural understanding, and global engagement. Established with the vision of preparing students for an increasingly interconnected world, the Hub offers comprehensive programs in a variety of international languages, including but not limited to Chinese, German, French, Turkish, and Arabic.

French Language Course

Knowledge of a second language is essential in over 60 occupations. Canada is officially bilingual and requires labeling in English and French on all imported products. More than 1,200 French companies have subsidiaries in the U.S.. France is a world leader in the development of modern telecommunications, a market with explosive growth potential. The European Union, the second largest trading block in the world, recognizes French as an official language. Think about the many job opportunities with the airlines, import-export companies, and other international businesses.
International job applicants who are proficient in at least two languages will be at a distinct advantage in the global market. When one knows French, one can be a part of communications and transactions occurring daily in French on every continent.
The main goal of the language course at the university should be to provide practical knowledge of the language to students. In other words, knowing French will allow students not only to function but to compete effectively in the global economy of the future, speaking French will increase the job opportunities and salary potential.
Foreign language and professional knowledge are the foundation of the future”. Lahore College for Women University is planning to offer a three months french language course for students and staff. Miss Asma, a French language instructor, will be conducting a three month course that includes all training materials and a certificate of training issued by French Center.
