Admission Notice (BS Program) (Self Supporting Program)

SELFSUPPORT UNDERGRADUATE PROGAMS

                      (ACADEMIC YEAR FALL 2024)

·         Admission in self-support Undergraduate Degree Programs will be given on the basis of First Year marks, on provisional basis. However, the admission will be confirmed after submission of Final / complete result of 2nd year and maintaining the minimum eligibility criteria.

Female candidates having Intermediate (HSSC)  / ‘A’ Level / Equivalent qualification to FSc Pre-medical, with at least 50% marks are eligible to apply for BS Biotechnology Program.

2.        

BS Botany

(Self-Support Program)

Female candidates having Intermediate (HSSC) / ‘A’ Level / Equivalent qualification to  FSc                                         Pre-medical, with  at least 50% marks are eligible to apply for BS Botany Program

3.        

BS Chemistry

(Self-Support Program)

Female candidates having Intermediate (HSSC)/ ‘A’ Level / Equivalent qualification to FSc Pre-Medical / FSc Pre- Engineering, with at least 50% marks are eligible to apply for BS Chemistry Program.

4.        

BS Environmental Science

(Self-Support Program)

Female candidates having Intermediate (HSSC)/ ‘A’ Level / Equivalent qualification to FSc Pre-Medical / FSc Pre- Engineering, with at least 50% marks are eligible to apply for BS Environmental Science Program.

 BS Mathematics

(Self-Support Program)

Female candidates having Intermediate (HSSC)/ ‘A’ Level / Equivalent qualification with at least 50% marks in Elective Mathematics of 200 marks are eligible to apply for BS Mathematics Program.

6.        

BS Physics

(Self-Support Program)

Female candidates having Intermediate (HSSC) /‘A’ Level / Equivalent qualification to FSc Pre-Medical, FSc Pre Engineering, ICS( Math, Physics) with at least 50% marks are eligible to apply  for BS Physics Program.

Note: Candidates who not have studied Mathematics of 200 marks at intermediate/ equivalent level shall have to qualify a test in Mathematics at the time of admissions.

BS Zoology

(Self-Support Program)

Female candidates having Intermediate (HSSC) / ‘A’ Level / Equivalent qualification to FSc             Pre-Medical, with at least 50% marks are eligible to apply for BS Zoology Program.

BS City and Regional Planning

(Self-Support Program)

Female candidates having FSc (Pre-Engineering) /ICS/General Science (Statistics, Math and Economics) with at least of 50% marks are eligible to BS City & Regional Planning Program.

9.        

BS Computer Science

(Self-Support Program)

Female candidates having 50% marks in Intermediate or equivalent with Mathematics are eligible to apply for BS Computer Science Program.

Note: Equivalence must be from IBCC.

10.    

BS Disaster Management

(Self-Support Program)

Female candidates having FSc (Pre-Engineering, Pre-Medical) or FA with Mathematic, Biology, Statistics, with at least 50% marks are eligible to apply for BS Disaster Management Program.  .

11.    

BS Software Engineering

(Self-Support Program)

Female candidates having Intermediate/ (HSSC Examination) with Mathematics or equivalent qualification with Mathematics at least 50% marks are eligible to apply in BS Software Engineering Program.   

Note: Equivalence must be from IBCC. 

 

The students who have not studied Mathematics at intermediate level may be allowed provisional admission, However such student shall have to pass deficiency courses of Mathematics (0 Credits) in first two semester OR provide additional mathematics result from relevant examination board within first semester.

FACULTY OF MANAGEMENT & ADMINISTRATIVE SCIENCES

Female candidates having F.A (Mathematics / Statistics / Economics / Computer Science) / F.Sc. (Pre-Medical & Pre-Engineering) / ICS / I.Com / A-Level and equivalent, students securing at least 50% marks at Intermediate Level are eligible to apply for B.Com Program.

BBA

(Self-Support Program)

Female candidates having F.A (Mathematics / Statistics / Economics / Computer Science) / F.Sc. (Pre-Medical & Pre-Engineering) / ICS / I.Com / A-Level and equivalent, students securing at least 50% marks at Intermediate Level are eligible to apply for BBA Program.

FAULTY OF ISLAMIC & ORIENTAL LEARNING

BS Islamic Studies

(Self-Support Program)

Female candidates having Intermediate (HSSC) / ‘A’ Level / Equivalent qualification with at least 50% marks are eligible to apply for BS Islamic Studies Program.

There is no condition to students to study Islamic studies Elective at Intermediate level. It is mandatory for the student to qualify the Interview conducted by the Department.

BS English Language & Literature

(Self-Support Program)

Female candidates having Intermediate (HSSC) / ‘A’ Level / FA With English Literature as an elective subject with at least 50% marks or FSc (Pre-Engineering, Pre-Medical), General Science, Computer Science and ICom)/ DAE/ Equivalent Qualification with at least 50% marks are eligible to apply for BS English (Language & Literature) program.

Note: All candidates( Open Merit as well as Reserved Seats)are  eligible for admission to BS English (Language & Literature) will have to pass a written test and interview, set and conducted, by the Department of English

Female candidates having FSc Pre Medical (HSSC)/FA/‘A’ Level equivalent qualification with Psychology (60 % marks in the subject of Psychology) with at least 50% marks in Intermediate are eligible to apply in BS Applied Psychology.

Note: 25% Seats are reserved for Pre-Medical students only.

Female candidates having Intermediate (HSSC) / ‘A’ Level / equivalent qualification with at least 50% marks are eligible to apply for BS Mass Communication Studies Program.

Female candidates having Intermediate (HSSC) / ‘A’ Level / equivalent qualification with at least 50% marks are eligible to apply for BS Pakistan Studies Program.

Female candidates having Intermediate (HSSC) with or without Fine Arts / ‘A’ Level / equivalent qualification with at least 2nd division are eligible to apply for BFA Program.

1.    It is mandatory for the student to qualify the Test & Interview conducted by the Department.

2.    The merit of the candidate will be determined according to the following Criteria

Test of Drawing (Life Drawing / Still Life Drawing):                         

50 marks

Interview

25 marks

(Fine Arts subject in Intermediate or relevant Diploma at least one year)                           

05 marks

Intermediate:        

(Weightage of percentage of obtained marks shall be 20%):

20 marks

Total Marks:

100 marks

 

3.    Candidates must bring their art material for the drawing test.

Drawing Test will be common for all applicants of BFA (Interior Design, Graphic Design, Textile Design and Visual Arts Programs).

Faculty of Pharmaceutical and Allied Health Sciences

Institute of Pharmacy

29.    

Pharm-D

(Self-Support Program)

Female candidates having FSc Pre-Medical with minimum 60% marks, and ‘A’ Level students with Pre-Medical subjects with Minimum 60% Marks are eligible to apply for Pharm-D Program.

30.    

Doctor of Physical Therapy 

(Self-Support Program)

FSc Pre-Medical/ Health Science or equivalent qualification with minimum 60% marks. The candidates having studied Applied Sciences (Physics, Chemistry) and basic Medical Sciences (Anatomy, Physiology) at Intermediate Level are also eligible to apply for Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) program admission on open merit seats as well as reserved seats.

Online Admission Forms Requirements

1.    The candidates must read E-Prospectus carefully and apply online at the university website www.lcwu.edu.pk

2.    They have to upload the following original colored documents of high Resolution along with a personal photograph with blue background (selfies & Photograph taken from mobile phone are not acceptable)

ü  Matriculation Certificate / Equivalent

ü  Intermediate Part -I Certificate / Equivalent

3.    For BS Electrical Engineering, Student must upload result card of latest UET Entry Test.

4.  The selected candidates will be admitted provisionally and the Verification Committee of the University will make final admission after the verification of the documents. If at any stage after the admission, it comes to the knowledge of the authorities that the documents presented by the candidate are fake or there is a misstatement or clerical error in the documents, her admission will be cancelled

5.    After payment of dues, the candidate shall get her Roll No. and section assigned in Online Admission System. 

6.    DAE Candidates shall apply using the formula: (Cumulative Obtained Marks in three Years / Cumulative Total Marks in three Years) x 100. Their admission will be on provisional basis and the confirmation of the admission is subject to equivalence from IBCC.

7.    A-level Candidates shall apply by calculating their score using   https://al-eq-calculator.vercel.app/ .  Their admission will be on provisional basis and the confirmation of the admission is subject to equivalence from IBCC.
