How to Apply:

1.    The candidate must apply online through the University job portal jobs.lcwu.edu.pk by filling job application form, no editing will be allowed after submission.

2.    The candidate must print system generated fee challan and deposit job application processing fee of  Rs. 1000/- at National Bank of Pakistan, Jail Road Branch.

3.    Online application submitted without deposited fee will not be entertained. Deposited fee is non-refundable / non-transferable.

Guidelines:

·   Selected / Shortlisted candidates must bring attested copies of all credentials, passport size photograph / updated C.V. / experience certificates / educational credentials / copy of CNIC / copy of paid challan form and other related documents at the time of interview.

·         The applicants working in Govt/Semi-Govt Organizations shall submit NOC’s from their parent Organizations.

·         Incomplete applications OR applications received after the due date shall not be entertained.

·         Only shortlisted candidates will be called by the respective departments for interviews and no TA/DA will be admissible.

·         Only female Candidates are require for the Islamic Studies Department.

·         Preference shall be given to female candidates.

·         The incumbent shall not claim any right for visiting/permanent employment at LCWU.

·         Preference shall be given to candidates residing in Lahore. 

·         University shall reserve the right to include or exclude any department without any prior intimation.

Department of Biotechnology had a formal inaugural ceremony and celebration of the new cabins for each faculty member.  Prof. Dr. Shagufta Naz, Vice Chancellor, LCWU was the chief guest. Dean Prof. Dr. Uzma Qureshi, Additional Registrar Ms. Uzma Batool and Chief Security Officer Mr. Qadeer Ahmed Sulehri also graced the occasion. The guest visited the cabins as well as Prayer room and sitting area for students that have been restored. Prof. Dr. Uzma Qureshi appreciated the restoration of prayer room and student sitting area.

Alhamdullilah the Department of Biotechnology has always been a leading department since its establishment under the founder chairpersonship of Prof. Dr. Shagufta Naz. With her vision to empower and facilitate the faculty members she has always tried her best to take each and every step in this regard. Wooden cabins had been made for faculty members since 2013.  Prof. Dr. Mehwish Iqtidar initiated the case to take approval for construction of glass cabins in 2021. However, construction of new cabins could not be initiated due to many reasons. When Prof. Naz took over the charge, she took up this project and the construction work started in on 29 January 2024.

 Prof. Dr. Shagufta Naz on this joyful occasion emphasized that a proper sitting place is a basic requirement and is a must to work with full potential. She has the vision to provide every faculty member and student best facilities in the university so that they can work with full zeal and zest and make LCWU one of the leading universities not only of Pakistan but a University that meets the international standards.

 Faculty members of Biotechnology thanked Prof. Dr. Shagufta Naz for her personal interest in accomplishing this task in a duration of 3 months.
