Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan and Higher Education Development Project in Pakistan (HEDP) takes on a significant initiative of Women Empowerment and Mentorship Program (WEMP) females’ employees of public sector universities across Pakistan. WEMP has been exclusively developed promote women empowerment and leadership roles, keeping in view the socio-cultural context gender parity indicators of Pakistan. The programmed components will aim to faster self- confidence professional development of the target group through a very comprehensive process. It will be led experts as mentors having desired level of professional excellence. The Mentors will serve as coaching guides, and moral supporters: enabling mentees in the mutually agreed upon plans contributing to the job satisfaction and professional growth.
