The Department of Research Centre for Art & Design focuses on equipping its research scholars with latest research trends in Fine Arts who are participating actively by producing quality research articles and conceptual artworks. The Research Centre promotes both art historical and studio practice students at MS and PhD level. We provide the scholars to study art history related to design, Islamic art and architecture, Pakistani art, Buddhist art, Indus civilization, contemporary architecture of Pakistan, arts, crafts and cultural heritage of Pakistan. The studio Practitioners are guided towards producing their own unique style with comprehensive philosophical and conceptual understanding. With the knowledge of latest research methodologies and art historical background the MS and PhD scholars explore new dimensions of Fine Arts for their thesis projects. Our alumni researchers are serving to promote research in Fine Arts in various national and international Institutions and are adding to the betterment of the society.
