The Student Council
Lahore College for Women University Student Council is a student-administered body which has always played a pivotal role in the management of student affairs and in organizing co-curricular events and activities. In Lahore College for Women University, students are always encouraged to come forward and demonstrate their talents, skills and interests while continuing to develop new skills.
The Student Council of Lahore College for Women University has always played an active and vital role in assisting, organizing and managing university events and activities. The office bearers of the council are democratically elected through a fair mechanism and are expected to carry out their responsibilities with utmost diligence.
Structure of the Council
- Head Girl (7th Semester)
- Deputy Head Girl (5th -7th)
- General Secretary (4th - 6th)
- Joint Secretaries (BS Arts)
- Joint Secretaries (BS Science)
- Class Representatives CRs ( 1 elected CR from each section/semester of intermediate and BS/MS)
Responsibilities of the Student Council
Assisting the university administration in the maintenance of discipline and management of student affairs.
Assisting the university administration in the organization of events such as debates, dramatics, sports, convocations, workshops, seminars and conferences etc.
Reporting any political or unlawful activities in the university.
Conveying the grievances and problems of the students to the administration through the Student Council Office.
Planning and executing various council-led activities.
