AIM

To establish Physical Therapy Laboratory and Rehabilitation Centre for Physiotherapy Students to learn practical knowledge about equipment’s and techniques in a laboratory environment, also to provide expertise to working women of Lahore College for Women University. Later stage convert this center to entrepreneur for young graduates to outsource the expertise.

NEED OF THE PROJECT: In LCWU, Department of Physical Therapy was established in 2021 under the umbrella of Faculty of Pharmaceutical and Allied Health Sciences to produce professionally skilled Physiotherapist. For Practical knowledge and experience of students and faculty, there was dire need to establish well equipped lab in the University. More over equipped Physical Therapy Lab will be source of income for providing professional services to females who have been advised by the doctor for their physical rehabilitation.

OBJECTIVES

1.    First to conduct seminars, workshops and talks to create the need and awareness about Physiotherapy Laboratory and Rehabilitation center.

2.    To take Procedural approval for allocation of space

3.    To take procedural approval for Purchasing the equipment’s used in Physiotherapy Laboratory and Rehabilitation center

4.    To raise funds for the Purchase of Equipment’s from Self Support Program of Physical therapy department.

5.    Advertisement & Procurement of Equipment’s as per PEPRA rules before June through Purchase Office of the University.

6.    Inauguration and Demonstration of Practicing physiotherapy Laboratory to Faculty members and students.

 

7Entrepreneurship: For generating revenue and outsource the facilities to the society.
