2.Webinar on “Research What, why & How”
3. One day workshop on Academic Writing
Technical writing skills are imperative to develop students’ capability of research methodology. It is strategically important to develop students’ research skills and techniques in a streamlined approach. For this purpose a joint workshop for ‘Academic Writing’ was conducted in mutual collaboration at Department of education (Planning & Development) and Department of Architecture. Dr. Munazzah Akhtar (Assistant Professor at Department of Architecture, University of Engineering and Technology) was the trainer of workshop.
Sequence of workshop
The piece of research acquires quality through justification and conclusion. The difference of creative writing with academic writing is the authenticity of referencing. First person and third person writing well-researched. Novelist can write I.

The activity based workshop was followed by interactive question answer session with students. The session explored need of bio-realism on the concrete phase of digitalization o Architecture.
4. Research Proposal Writing
Department of Education (Planning and Development) organized one day workshop titled “How to write a Research Proposal” on Wednesday, 28 November, 2018. For that, Dr. Muhammad Azeem (Psychometrician) and Chairperson of Education Department Dr. Ghazala Noureen were invited as a guest trainer . The targeted audience and viewers of the event was the faculty and students of Department of Education. The main objective was to interrogate the elements of good research design and to assist students in the writing of a research proposal.
In the end, souvenirs were presented to the guest speakers, participants and organizers were presented with the certificates and shields.
5. Iqbal Day
Department of Education (Planning and Development) organized event titled “Iqbal day” on Friday, 16 November, 2018. For that, Dr. Nasira Javed (Rtrd Justice) was invited as a guest speaker. The targeted audience and viewers of the event was the faculty and students of LCWU. The main objective was to idealize him as a role model for national prosperity.
In the end, souvenirs were presented to the guest speakers, organizers and volunteers were presented with the certificates and shields.
