LCWU is a premier institution for women education in Lahore with a history of more than 98 years' commendable service to its credit. Our mission at LCWU is to offer the best affordable higher education without compromising on quality, credibility or academic excellence. LCWU enjoys a very good reputation as a gateway for entrance into different universities and professional institutions, both inside the country and abroad. We emphasize on empowering women for nation building by imparting education and enhancing their professional skills through a balanced combination of academic theory and practice. We, at LCWU, strive to produce highly skilled, professional, well-groomed and value-driven women leaders capable of sharing responsibility in a global community. Our state-of-the-art campus has spacious classrooms, fully equipped labs, a well-stocked library and a vast playground to meet the growing demands of an ever-increasing student-body. Intellectual curiosity and innovative abilities of the students nurture through interactive classroom sessions and technology-integrated lessons. Almost 50 societies are operating on campus to facilitate students in co-curricular activities and sports of their choice. Highly dedicated and professional educationists work hard day and night to create a dynamic learning environment required to take up the challenges of the 21st century. In view of the public's demand to increase the seats for F.Sc. (Pre- Medical and Pre-Engineering) ICS (Physics, Stats & Economics) and I.COM, and Humanities, a Self-Supporting Evening Program was started during the Session 2018-2020. Students, who could not come on merit of the Morning Program because of difference of a few marks got admission in the Evening Program and are doing very well. Diversity of the learning community is one of our greatest strengths. It helps the students to become more tolerant by understanding and assimilating the dreams and aspirations of fellow students belonging to different stratum of society. We focus on the pursuit of knowledge through discipline to ensure success.
