In the start of the month of February, 2012, the construction work of the Iranology Centre was completed. The Centre as well as the Persian Language Laboratory and library cum seminar room are fully furnished. The primary function of the construction of the library – cum – seminar room in Ottak–e–Iran Shanasi and the Persian Language Laboratory is to provide access to young women graduates and literary scholars to Persian Language and Literature and to acquaint them with the rich culture and traditions of Iran.

In short there has been an incredible projection of Lahore College for Women University in Iran through the Iranology Center. It has enabled an active interaction between Lahore College for Women University and Iranian universities. In a broader prospect, this center has cemented the brotherly and bi–lateral relations between Pakistan and Iran.
