a- A delegate from Iran visited LCWU, Lahore on 25th November, 2009. The delegate members were renowned personalities from Iran including:

1.    Mrs. Dr. Famori    (Director Iran Culture Centre, Lahore)
2.    Mrs. Saeed Kharazi    (Council General of Iranian Consulate in Lahore)
The purpose of delegate’s visit was to see the progress in Persian Department of LCWU, Lahore being carried out under the umbrella of Iran Culture Centre.
The delegate members visited the newly constructed “Iran Shanasai Room”, and were pleased with the work done and praised the efforts of Syeda Faleeha Kazmi, who is working diligently since the inception of this development project.

b- A delegation from Iran visited Lahore College for Women University, Lahore on 23rd May, 2011. The delegate members were prominent personalities from Iran including:

1.    Mr. Dr. Famori    (Director Iran Culture Centre, Lahore)
2.    Mrs. Masooma Mohammadi    (Deputy Director General Islamic Culture and Relations Organization Iran)
3.    Mrs. Samina Arifa    (Public Relations Iran Cultural Centre)
4.    Mrs. Arab    (Art Director Iran Cultural Centre)

The purpose of delegate’s visit was to see the progress in Persian Department of LCWU, Lahore being carried out under the umbrella of Iran Culture Center.

On February 22 Governor Sardar Latif Khan Khosa inaugurated on Wednesday the Iranology Center and Language Laboratory at the Lahore College for Women University, Lahore.

Iranian Counsul in Lahore M. Hussain Bani Asadi, Iranian Cultural Centre Director General Dr. Abbas Ali Famoori, Governor of Punjab Sardar Latif Khan Khosa and Vice Chancellor LCWU, Lahore Dr. Sabiha Mansoor spoke on the occasion.
