The department will promote evaluative research using rigorous systematic and empirical standards of scientific investigation for the following purposes:
- Action research within the university; for the solution of current problems during practice.
- Institutional & program improvement plans for the university and external clients.
- Staff development in collaboration with other university departments such as FDC and ORIC.
- Quality assurance strategies& accountability procedures for institutional programs.
- Survey based research and policy analysis.
- Feasibility for academic and administrative interventions in public and private sectors.
- Case studies for specific institutional or individual performance at university or other institutions including success and failure stories.
- Providing empirical evidence for correct and effective future decision making.
- Providing opportunities for research based innovative activities.
