Objectives

Department of STEM Education aims:

  1. To promote evaluative and action research using rigorous scientific methods for solving educational challenges within and beyond the university.

  2. To support institutional and program improvement through evidence-based planning and evaluation.

  3. To foster staff development in collaboration with other university departments such as FDC and ORIC.

  4. To strengthen quality assurance mechanisms and accountability procedures for academic and institutional programs.

  5. To conduct survey-based research and policy analysis for informed educational decision-making.

  6. To assess feasibility and design interventions for academic and administrative reforms in both public and private sectors.

  7. To carry out case studies highlighting institutional and individual performance, including success stories and lessons learned.

  8. To generate empirical evidence that guides effective strategies for future educational development.

  9. To provide opportunities for innovative, research-driven activities that promote creativity and problem-solving.
