Faculty Development & Internationalisation

Faculty Development Centre

In the field of education, where educational materials and other resources undoubtedly play an important part in a pupil’s educational experience, it is the teacher who implements these resources and acts as a bridge between the material and the student. Each teacher leaves his/her individual mark on the students being taught and shoulders a large responsibility in the shaping of the students and their eventual successes and failures, as well as in the changes brought about in the educational system in which s/he functions. While educational materials and resources play a crucial part in pupil’s educational experience, it is the teacher who implements these resources and acts as a bridge between the material and the student.

The faculty at LCWU comprises of 484 faculty members which is likely to rise over the coming years, as well as four administrative departments. FDC is committed to providing mandatory training and development to each member of the university’s teaching and management staff through personal and departmental development.
