•       Progress Review Meeting of QECs and Consultative Workshop

Quality Assurance Agency (QAA) HEC team in Lahore organized, Progress Review Meeting of QECs and Consultative Workshop for Understanding and Effective Implementation of Pakistan's Precept, Standards, and Guidelines for Quality Assurance in Higher Education (PSG-2023) from 24th to 26th April 2024. 30 different Universities from all over punjab participated in meeting. Director QEC, LCWU Mr. Hadi Iqtadar participated in the meeting and trainings and also informed HEC about the recent initiatives taken by the QEC and Alumni working of LCWU.The significant event was held in collaboration with Forman Christian College University. The consultative workshop signifies a pivotal step forward in advancing quality assurance practices and transforming the HEIs across Pakistan.The consultative workshops will continue until May 18, 2024, and will serve as a platform to promote understanding and effective implementation of PSG-2023; highlighting its pivotal role in upholding and enhancing educational standards across Pakistan.

•     In collaboration with the office of Public Relation, Quality Enhancement Cell (QEC) organized a concise Orientation Session t Government Graduate College for Women Gulberg on Wednesday, March 20^th 2024. 

•      In collaboration with the office of Public Relation, Quality Enhancement Cell (QEC) organized a concise Orientation Session at Govt. Islamia College for Cooper Road on Monday, March 04^th, 2024.

•  Ms. Annam Tariq QA-Manager participated in 4^th International Conference PNQAHE and Annual General Meeting and workshop at Islamabad from 3-5 March 2024.
• Mr. Hadi Iqtadar, Director QEC & Ms. Annam Tariq, QA-Manager, participated in a training /workshop regarding “Bridging through outreach quality Assurance at Affiliating Universities and Colleges on 27th February 2024.

Dr. Arham Shabbir, Director QEC & Ms. Annam Tariq, QA-Manager, participated in Panel Discussion with Director QEC of various Universities and prominent QEC staff on Revamped Quality Assurance Framework of HEC "Pakistan Precepts Standards and Guidelines for Quality Assurance in Higher Education 2023".
QEC of LCWU organized a detailed orientation session for all Chairpersons and In-charges of departments of LCWU along with coordinators of MS/MPhil and PhD programs to familiarize them with new HEC Graduate Education Policy 2023. 

QEC, LCWU organized a Seminar on "Self-Assessment a Tool for Quality & Change" held on 22^nd June 2023

QEC organized a Training Session in Government Graduate College for Women, Samnabad, Lahore regarding “Conduction of Online Course & Teacher Evaluation & Its Importance in Self-Assessment Procedure (SAP)” held on 21^st June 2023.

Dr. Arham Shabbir, Director QEC, LCWU Lahore participated as Guest Speaker in a Seminar on “Post Graduate Program Review” organized by Directorate of Quality Enhancement, PMAS-Arid Agriculture University, Rawalpindi on 2^nd February 2023. Prof. Dr. Mazhar Qayyum, Dean Faculty of Science and Director Quality Enhancement, Prof. Dr. Abdul Saboor, Dean Faculty of Social Sciences, Prof. Dr. Arfan Yousaf, Dean Faculty of Veterinary & Animal Sciences, Dr. Muhammad Farooq Nasir, Director Advance Studies along with heads of departments, faculty members, and post graduate students participated in the event.

Dr. Arham Shabbir, Director QEC attended the training on Gender Mainstreaming in SDGs Programming, Jointly organized by UNDP Pakistan and Government of Punjab held on 26^th & 27^th July 2022. He was awarded certificate by UNDP Pakistan and Government of Punjab

Dr. Saima Farhan HOD department of Computer Science gave the presentation to bring awareness among the faculty members at college level regarding accreditation of the programs and encouraged them to get registered.

Workshop on Quality Assurance and Accreditation of Business & Administrative Sciences Programs in Affiliated Colleges held on 17-03-2022

Dr. Muhammad Fiaz COD, department of Management Science gave presentation to bring awareness among the faculty members at college level regarding accreditation of the programs and encouraged them to get their programs registered at council.

Workshop # III:

Workshop on Quality Assurance and Accreditation of Education Programs in Affiliated Colleges held on 17-03-2022

Dr. Asma Kazi COD, department of Education (Elementary) and Dr. Ghazala Noreen COD department of Education (Secondary) gave presentation to bring awareness among the faculty members at college level regarding accreditation of the programs and encouraged them to get their programs registered at council. 

Internal MS/MPhil and PhD Review Visit 2021-22

•    Punjab SDGs Support Unit and LCWU would collaborate on the awareness on SDGs. In this respect Punjab SDGs Support Unit would help LCWU in streamlining all its activities in context of SDGs.

•    It was also decided that all such activities would also be mentioned on the websites of LCWU as well as Punjab SDGs Support Unit.

•    LCWU will frame all its projects in the light of the guidance from the Punjab SDGs Support Unit and different international agencies.

•    It was also agreed that both institutes would start their working for a dynamic MOU.
