·         Mr. Hadi Iqtadar, Director QEC & Ms. Annam Tariq, QA-Manager, participated in a training /workshop regarding “Bridging through outreach quality Assurance at Affiliating Universities and Colleges organized by Higher Education Commission at HEC regional Center Lahore on 27th February 2024. 

·         Ms. Sehrish Nadeem QA- Manager, Participated in International Seminar titled: “Leadership Role in Quality Assurance” hosted by FC College, Lahore on 15th February, 2024.   

·         Ms. Annam Tariq QA-Manager participated in 4th International Conference PNQAHE and Annual General Meeting and workshop at Islamabad from 3-5 March 2024. 

·         Dr. Arham Shabbir, Director QEC & Ms. Annam Tariq, QA-Manager, participated in Panel Discussion with Director QEC of various Universities and prominent QEC staff on Revamped Quality Assurance Framework of HEC "Pakistan Precepts Standards and Guidelines for Quality Assurance in Higher Education 2023". The panelists finalized a few recommendations with consensus. The panel discussion was organized and hosted by Mr. Ali Raza, Director QEC, Lahore Garrison University. 

·         Ms. Sehrish Nadeem (QAM) attended a national workshop on “Empowering Green Leaders: UI Green Metric Workshop for Sustainable pathways in Pakistani Universities” organized by QEC, Khawaja Fareed University of Engineering & Information Technology, Rahim Yar Khan, Pakistan on  October 16, 2023. 

·         Ms. Sehrish Nadeem (QAM) attended One-day Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Program on “HEC’s Ranking Metrics and Research Data Extraction and Management” scheduled by  Punjab Higher Education Commission (PHEC) on August 04, 2023.

·         Ms. Annam Tariq (QAM) along with Ms. Sehrish Nadeem (QAM) attended  Two day International Conference on Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), organized by the Quality Enhancement Cell, Khwaja Fareed University of Engineering and Information Technology, Rahim Yar Khan, Pakistan dated July 12 -13th 2023. 

·         Deputy Director along with QA- Managers attended One Day International Conference organized by Karakoram International University, Gilgit- Baltistan on “Reforms in Higher Education” dated 12th June 2023.  

·         Deputy Director along with QA- Managers attended a Seminar on Research Ethics & Quality Assurance: Challenges & Solutions. Organized by Karakoram International University, Gilgit- Baltistan on “Reforms in Higher Education” dated 12th June 2023.   

·         Mr. Hadi Iqtadar, Deputy Director , QEC, LCWU participated in the Quality Assurance Session on “ Future of Quality & Organizational Excellence” dated 06th June 2023 organized by QEC, Dow University of Health Sciences, Karachi.  

·         Dr. Arham Shabbir, Director QEC, LCWU Lahore participated as Guest Speaker in a Seminar on “Post Graduate Program Review” organized by Directorate of Quality Enhancement, PMAS-Arid Agriculture University, Rawalpindi on 2nd February 2023.  

·         Dr. Arham Shabbir (Director QEC) attended the training on Gender Mainstreaming in SDGs Programming, Jointly organized by UNDP Pakistan and Government of Punjab held on 26th & 27th July 2022. He was awarded certificate by UNDP Pakistan and Government of Punjab. 

·         Director QEC along with QEC staff attended “Progress Review Meeting & Training of QEC’s” organized by Quality Assurance Agency ((QAA) HEC at Lahore School of Economics at 23rd -25th February 2022.  

·         Mr. Hadi Iqtadar, Deputy Director , QEC, LCWU participated in workshop on “Current Trends & Issues of Quality Assurance Practices in Pakistan’s Higher Education Institutions” organized by the Quality Enhancement Cell, the University of Faisalabad on 19th May 2022.  

·         Mr. Hadi Iqtadar, Deputy Director , QEC, LCWU attended a training session on “Soft Skills Personality Development & Professional Grooming” organized by DFDI, LCWU on 26th May 2022.   

·         QEC members attended attended 2- Day seminar organized by QEC Directorate, WUAJ&K on “Quality Assurance Procedures Implementation in Higher Education Institutes” held on 7thDecember, 2021.  

·         QA-Manger attended a workshop titled “Conducting Effective Institutional Performance Evaluation” organized by Indus University.  

·         Mr. Hadi Iqtadar, Deputy Director , QEC, LCWU  attended One Day workshop on “Quality Assurance in Academic & Research”organized by Govt. College Women University Faisalabad on 7th October 2021.  

·         Dr. Arham Shabbir, Director QEC, LCWU attended “Times Higher Education Impact Rankings Masterclass- Spotlight on Asia” featuring Mr. Duncan Ross (Chief Data officer) on 17thMay, 2021.  

·         Dr. Arham Shabbir, Director QEC, LCWU attended “Times Higher Education Innovation & Impact summit 2021” held online on 10-22 April 2021.  

·         Dr. Arham Shabbir (Director QEC), Ms. Annam Tariq (QAM), and Ms. Sehrish Nadeem (QAM) attended online training session on “HEC Undergraduate and PhD program policy 2021”, held on April, 08, 2021. The event was organized by University of Gujrat. MR. Imranullah Khan Marwat, Director Quality Assurance, HED Peshawar, Govt. of KPK.  

·         Mr. Hadi Iqtadar, Deputy Director QEC, LCWU participated in webinar on topic: “Developing Competencies for General Education Courses as per New Undergraduate Education Policy”. The webinar was organized by the Quality Enhancement Cell of “Jinnah Sindh Medical University” Karachi on 7thFebruary,2021. The Resource Person of Webinar was “Dr. Abdul Wahid Usmani” Director (Quality & Accreditation), Jinnah Sindh Medical University, Karachi.  

·         Mr. Hadi Iqtadar, Deputy Director (QEC), LCWU attended Webinar organized by “The International Islamic University, Islamabad” on 12thFebruary, 2021. The topic was “Orientation on Global University Rankings and new undergraduate and PhD Policy”.  

·         QEC members attended “National Conference on Quality Assurance in Higher Education Institutions Challenges and Reforms”held on 30thDecember, 2020.  

·         Director QEC along with the QA Mangers attended the Webinar on “Improving Quality of Higher Education through International Accreditation” by ILMA University.   

Seminars/ workshops/ Trainings organized by QEC

  • As per the directions of Worthy Vice Chancellor LCWU Prof Dr. Shagufta Naz, the Quality Enhancement Cell of LCWU, in collaboration with the Office of Public Relations, held a concise Orientation Session at Government Graduate College for Women Gulberg on Wednesday, March 20th 2024. The session provided an orientation on QECAC's initiative in accordance with HEC guidelines, led by Mr. Hadi Iqtadar, Director of QEC at LCWU. Additionally, Dr. Barira Bakhtawar, Public Relations Officer at LCWU, conducted a brief session on the strategies and skills necessary for effective communication regarding QEC activities. The team also had a meeting with the Principal Dr. Nighat Naheed Zafar and QEC focal person of the college and informed them about the HEC targets for the year 2023-24. The Principal appreciated the efforts of the team LCWU.
  • In collaboration with the office of Public Relation, Quality Enhancement Cell (QEC) organized a concise Orientation Session at Govt. Islamia College for Cooper Road on Monday, March 04th, 2024. The session provided an orientation on QECACs initiatives in accordance with HEC guidelines, led by Mr. Hadi Iqtadar. Director QEC. Additionally, Dr. Barira Bakhtawar, Public Relation officer, conducted a brief session on the strategies and skills necessary for effective communication reading QEC activities.
  • QEC of LCWU organized a detailed orientation session on 27-11-2023 for all Chairpersons and In-charges of departments of LCWU along with coordinators of MS/MPhil and PhD programs to familiarize them with new HEC Graduate Education Policy 2023. Dr. Arham Shabbir, Director QEC, and Ms. Huma Saeed Controller of Examinations were the resource persons for the event. They discussed the key points of new HEC Graduate Education Policy 2023. During orientation session, participants were encouraged to ask queries which were answered comprehensively.
  • QEC, LCWU organized a Seminar on "Self-Assessment a Tool for Quality & Change" held on 22nd June 2023. 
  • QEC organized a Training Session in Government Graduate College for Women, Samnabad, Lahore regarding “Conduction of Online Course & Teacher Evaluation & Its Importance in Self-Assessment Procedure (SAP)” held on 21st June 2023.
  • Workshop on Quality Assurance and accreditation of Computer Sciences Program in Affiliated Colleges held on 14-03-2022

  • QEC organized an awareness/training session for the internal members nominated by the Vice Chancellor for MS/M. Phil and PhD review visit 2020-21 on 7th June 2021. 

  • QEC organized an online training session for program team members of Government Graduate College for Women, Gulberg on 28thMay, 2021. Approximately 30 members attended the session.

·         Dr. Arham Shabbir, Director QEC, visited GIFT University, Gujranwala as an External Reviewer for Post Graduate Program Self- Review (PGPR) dated 07th June 2023. 

·         Dr. Arham Shabbir, Director QEC, LCWU evaluated Self Institutional Performance Evaluation (IPE) of University of the Punjab , Lahore as External Evaluator on 22nd & 23rd May 2023 

·         Dr. Arham Shabbir , Director QEC, visited University of Central Punjab as an External Reviewer for Post Graduate Program Self- Review (PGPR) dated 16th May 2023. 

·         Dr. Arham  Shabbir (Director QEC) was called as External Reviewer for Post Graduate Program Self-Review (MS/M. Phil & PHD) of the University of Lahore on 2nd March 2023. 

·         Dr. Arham Shabbir (Director QEC) participated as External member in Assessment team visit of various programs of Lahore Garrison University on 21st February 2023.  

·         Dr. Arham Shabbir (Director QEC) participated as External member in Self-Institutional Performance Evaluation of The Islamia University of Bahawalpur on 16th and 17th February 2023. 

·         Dr. Arham Shabbir (Director QEC) participated as External member in Assessment team visit of various programs of Lahore Garrison University on 7th July 2022. 

·         Dr. Arham Shabbir (Director QEC) participated as External member in Post Graduate Program Self-Review (MS/M. Phil & PHD) of Kinnaird College for Women as External Reviewer on 21st June 2022.  

·         Dr. Arham  Shabbir (Director QEC) participated as External member in Post Graduate Program Self-Review (MS/M. Phil & PHD) of the University of Lahore on 16th June 2022. 

·         Director QEC along with QA- Manger visited University of Lahore as an External Reviewer for Post Graduate Program Review (PGPR) Review 

·         Dr. Arham Shabbir, Director QEC, LCWU was called as and External Reviewer for Post Graduate Program Review (PGPR) Review of Kinnard College for Women University, Lahore.  

·         Dr. Arham Shabbir, Director QEC, LCWU evaluated Self Institutional Performance Evaluation (IPE) of University of Health Sciences, Lahore as External Evaluator. 

·         Director QEC was part of MS/M.Phil& PhD Review Visit 2019-20 of The University of Faisalabad as External Reviewer. 

·         Director QEC along with QA Manager visited University of Management Sciences as External Reviewer for IPE for the year 2019-20.  

·         Director QEC Represents QEC, LCWU in the Progress Review Meeting conducted by HEC.  

·         Director QEC was part of MS/M.Phil& PhD Review Visit 2018-19 of UET as External Reviewer.
