On 15th November 2023 Deputy Director QEC, Mr. Hadi Iqtadar conducted a session at Home Economics Department LCWU regarding upcoming Self Post Graduate Program Review Visit 2023 and Alumni and Graduating Student Survey.
A Session regarding implementation of Alumni & Graduating Students Survey
Mr Hadi Iqtadar Deputy Director QEC, LCWU had an interactive session on 12th October 2023 regarding implementation of the Alumni and Graduating Student Survey and initial preparation regarding Internal Review Visit for MS and PhD programs of Botany Department for 2023-24 with COD, Alumni Focal person and MS and PhD coordinators of Botany Department.
Postgraduate Program Review (PGPR) visit 2022
HEC-QAA Team has successfully conducted 03-day Postgraduate Program Review (PGPR) visit of LCWU on 6th to 8th September 2022. HEC Team started PGRP visit with an introductory with Deans, Directors, Registrar, and Controller of Examinations in which Director QEC gave detailed presentation. HEC review team rigorously evaluated all postgraduate programs of LCWU, checked student and faculty files, visited labs, libraries, and classrooms of selective departments, and have interactive session with HODs, Faculty members & Students separately. Finally on the last day of the visit HEC Team had Exit Meeting with the Vice Chancellor. QEC compiled the required files and documents and finally facilitated the visit.
MS/MPhil and PhD Review Visit 2021-22
The Higher Education Commission (HEC) has developed the minimum criteria for higher degree programs and circulated amongst all the Universities / Degree awarding Institutions for compliance. In 2017-18 HEC, Quality Assurance Agency directed all the Universities to conduct the Internal MS/MPhil and PhD review visit of their programs as per SOPs of QECs with weighted criteria.
Quality Enhancement Cell (QEC), Lahore College for Women University initiated this task for 2018-19, 2019-20, and 2020-21 and was completed successfully. Now for 2021-22 this task was initiated after getting approval from the respected Vice Chancellor, LCWU. It was decided to conduct this visit physically as per guidelines of QAA, HEC.
QEC informed the following nominated and notified internal and external nominations on approval of the worthy Vice Chancellor, LCWU to conduct its internal MS/MPhil and PhD review visit for 2021-22 as per HEC guidelines:

MS/M.Phill & Ph.D Review 2020-21
QEC successfully conducted MS/MPhil and PhD Internal Review Visit for 2020-21 during the month of June, 2021. The Data regarding MS/M.Phil and PhD programs, faculty, and students were compiled by the concerned departments and submitted to QEC on templates of Quality Assurance Agency, HEC. Three Internal and One External Evaluators were nominated, and they had questions answer session with the concerned Chairperson of the Departments along with their MS and PhD Coordinators. The evaluators submitted their findings and recommendations related to LCWU MS/MPhil and PhD programs based on which Implementation Plan was developed by the QEC for 2020-21.
