Department of Sociology initiated an educational tour  to " Kartarpur Corridor" for their final year students related to their "Sociology of Religion" course taught by "Ms. Muniza Javed" on 26 March 2022. The purpose of this tour was to make students' develop orientation for practical observation and to gain experience, learn about ground realities, issues, solutions related to minorities rights in Pakistan. Other than that, to show them  the latest development made by Government of Pakistan related to Religions of different minorities.

During this tour the faculty members and students got warm welcome from the Kartarpur management. The student meet and greet the sikh community coming from around the globe. Mr. Rana Maroof protocol officer of Kartarpur Corridor facilitated us in whole tour with guiding students about the detail history of Sikhism and latest development in Sikh and Muslim relationship in Pakistan.
