A Memorandum of Understanding was signed between Department of Social Work, LCWU and United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) on 24th June 2024, under the patronage of Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Shagufta Naz and Dean Faculty of Arts & Social Sciences Prof. Dr. Muhammad Afzal. Dr. Luay Shabaneh (Country Representative) and Ms. Tania Durrani (Punjab Lead) represented UNFPA. The purpose of this agreement is to prevent and respond Gender based Violence and other harmful practices of child marriage, maternal deaths, and unmet needs for family planning through different collaborative activities for the students.
