International Girl Child Day was celebrated at Lahore College for Women University
on 11th October 2024. In this regard, Department of Gender and Development Studies, LCWU in collaboration with DSA organized an awareness-raising walk to highlight the educational, health, and violence-related issues affecting children, especially girls. After a walk, a seminar was held to celebrate International Girl Child Day. Speakers emphasized upon the need to protect and educate a girl child in order to raise a healthy and educated society.
