Department of Sociology, Lahore College for Women University, Lahore organized a panel discussion in celebration of International Human Rights Day with the theme "Human Rights in Ensuring Clean and Safe Water Access: A pathway towards One common future". Prof. Dr Farhan Naveed Yousaf, Director ISCS, University of Punjab, Dr. Asma Seemi Malik,In-Charge Sociology Department, LCWU, Dr Rizwan Safdar, Assistant Professor, Sociology, University of Punjab, Mr. Muhammad Sufyan, Provincial Head ,Water Aid participated in the discussion in context of safe and clean water as a human right and how sustainable practices and solutions can work as a better intervention.

Faculty and students showed active participation throughout the discussion and expressed their views in poster competition.
