Year 2023

·         The students of Social Work Society donated the winter cloths to the Akhuwat Cloth Bank on 12-12-2023 that comprised of men’s wear, women’s wear and kids wear. It meets the SDG goal # 03( Good Health and Well-Being)

·         The students of Social Work Society participated as volunteers on “World Disability Day” with Alkhidmat Foundation on 02-12-2023. In this activity, the students with Alkhidmat Foundation donated the wheel chairs and other necessary items for disable people. It meets the objective “Good Health and Well-Being” of (SDG 03) 

·         The students of social work department visited the SOS Village and Dar-ul-Aman, Lahore on 13-12-2023 and donated the food items like chocolates and dry fruits among children of these institutions. It covers the “Zero Hunger”  (SDG 02)

Year 2022 

Donation of Winter Clothes to Qadira e Amal & Alif Laam Meem  

• Social Work Department donated the winter clothes to the non- governmental organizations Qadeera- Amal & Alif Laam Meem for children and women included jackets, shawls, sweaters and suits. (14^th February, 2022) 

Donation of Medicines to Qadira e Amal 

• Social Work Department donated the Medicines to the non- governmental organization Qadeera- Amal that will be used for the needy people of Afghanistan (11^th February, 2022) . 

Year 2021 

Donation of Clothes to Qadeera - Amal & Akhuwat 

• Social Work Department donated the winter clothes to the non- governmental organizations Qadeera- Amal & Akhuwat for children and women included jackets, shawls, sweaters and suits. (20^th December, 2021).
  
  
• A Webinar on “Environment Protection” was organized by Social Work Department in collaboration with College of Earth & Environmental Sciences, University of the Punjab and Environment Protection Department Govt of Punjab on 23^rd June, 2021. Dr. Abdul Qadir (Associate Professor, PU)  discussed how much important it is to aware people about the upcoming climate crises and he also guide the audience that how we can avoid the use of plastic bags and keep our environment healthy and clean. The 2^nd speaker Mr. Muhammad Shoaib sensitized the participants about “Punjab Green Development Program”.
  
  
• A Webinar on “Child Labour” was conducted by Social Work Department in collaboration with “Search for Justice” a Non-Governmental Organization working with mission of empowering child rights and protection work in Pakistan on 22^nd June, 2021. Mr. Iftikhar Mubarak founder of “Search for Justice” threw light on how to create awareness in society about child rights so that child labour can be reduced and diminishes from our society. He also talked about different legislations related to child labour. 
  
  
• A Webinar on “Life Skill Based Education and Safeguarding” was conducted by Social Work Department in collaboration with Rahnuma FPAP on 21^st June, 2021.Ms. Shazia Sultana (HR Manager, Rahnuma FPAP) raised the awareness on ‘safeguarding’ among participants. Safeguarding taught us that how an individual can stop the violation of his/her rights by raising concerns against the issue and Mr. Khubaib Kiyani (Head of Youth and Adolescent department, Rahnuma FPAP) sensitized the participants about life skill-based education. Life skill-based education accounts psychological competencies and interpersonal skills that helps an individual to think critically, communicate effectively, construct strong relationships and cope with creatively managing their lives in a healthier and productive manner.
  
  
• The Students of the Social Work Department donated the Thermal Gun, Bed Sheets, Hand Sanitizers, Face Masks, Tea Cups, Hand Washing Soaps, Dish Washing Soaps, Surfs and Phenyl to the Panahgah LOS Ichra, Lahore. (2nd Feb, 2021) 

Year 2019

• The students of the Department of Social Work donated the stationary items to the SOS Village, Lahore. (April,2019)
