1st International Virtual Conference on Gender and Social Sciences: Diversity, Challenges & Opportunities (IVCGS 2022)

The Department of Gender & Development Studies, Lahore College for Women University and Forman Christian College (A Chartered University) are pleased to announce the “1st International conference on Gender and Social Sciences: Diversity, Challenges & Opportunities” under the US-Pakistan University Partnership Grant Program (UPGP) funded by US Mission to Pakistan and administered by United States Educational Foundation in Pakistan (USEFP).

The main objective of the conference is to bring together eminent researchers, scholars, civil society, Sociologist, Gender experts and students from all over the world to highlight current gender perspective, dynamics of gender in everyday life, social institutions, social interactions and patterns of social behavior, steps and approaches to addressing challenges related to gender development and reciprocal impact of gender and social sciences.

Call for Abstracts

Abstract (200-250 words) along with CV of the presenter (for official purpose only) should be submitted by December 20th, 2021 to This email address is being protected from spambots. Submission deadline for abstracts: December 20th, 2021.

Expected invitation call for full papers: January 15th, 2022

Submission of full papers for presentation at the conference: January 31st, 2022
