Dated: 24th - 26th Jan, 2023: LISA-LCWU, in collaboration with, the Directorate of Faculty Development & Internationalization (DFDI) organized a three-day training workshop titled as "R for Data Science (1)". Dr. Asifa Kamal, Chairperson of the Department of Statistics, served as the resource person of the workshop, and Ms. Jiya Amir, LISA-internee assisted her during the event. The training workshop aimed to familiarize students and faculty members with the concept of Big Data and data handling using tidyverse tool. Faculty members and students from various departments of LCWU and affiliated colleges actively participated in the training sessions. The workshop provided a valuable opportunity for participants to engage in hands-on practice and gain a better understanding of the software.
At the conclusion of the workshop, Dr. Asifa Kamal, Chairperson of the Statistics Department, expressed her gratitude to the members of the DFDI and LISA-LCWU team for their efforts in organizing the event.
