Independence Jubilation Event To celebrate 76 years of Independence

English Debating Society LCWU organised Independence Day Event on 18th August 2023. Orators of the society gave patriotic speeches on various topics which echoed the essence of our nation's journey. The sacrifices of our forefathers were remembered and the pledge to upload the values of our cherished nation was renewed.

Our worthy chief guest Dean Dr. Syeda Faleeha Zahra Kazmi greatly appreciated the efforts of English Debating Society to put together such a wonderful event, she also evoked the spirit of independence in the audience through her insightful words. Many members of teaching faculty also attended the event. After the debates, the members of music society added to the spirit of independence by singing patriotic songs. Lastly chairperson, Dr Amara Khan thanked and appreciated the whole team of English Debating Society and the participants who contributed to the celebrations with full zeal and zest. At the end of the event, the chief guest Dr. Faleeha Zahra Kazmi, along with Dr. Amara Khan and the Incharge of EDS Ms. Ammara Iqbal distributed  certificates among the zealous speakers and other participants.
