A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between the Department of Statistics, Lahore College for Women University (LCWU), Lahore and the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics (PBS), Islamabad on 22nd September 2023. The MOU was signed by Vice Chancellor LCWU Prof. Dr. Shagufta Naz and Chief Statistician PBS Dr. Naeem uz Zafar. Chairperson Department of Statistics Dr. Asifa Kamal took initiative and put forward efforts for the collaboration between LCWU and PBS. The benefits arise from signed MoU includes collaboration in research projects, joint conferences, workshops, and seminars, internship opportunities for students, sharing of data, publication, and information, and combined training programs on data analysis and programming skills. Participants from both entities reciprocated this MOU graciously.
