A Memorandum of Understanding was signed between Lahore College for Women University (Sociology Department ) and Search for justice-CAN on November 29th, 2023 under the patronage of worthy Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Shagufta Naz, accompanied by Dean Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences Dr. Muhammad Afzal, Head of Sociology Department Dr. Asma Seemi Malik and Faculty of Sociology Dr. Kiran Ikram, Ms. Komal Riaz Cheema, Ms. Ummama Munir, Ms. Shiza Zawar, Dr. Anam Afzal, Dr. Nuzhat Firdous and Ms. Shifa Naeem Butt.  The partnership reflects shared commitment of Search for justice-CAN and LCWU for providing education and experience to students regarding empowerment and personal as well as social development. Under the MOU, both the institutions have committed to collaborate in joint research ventures, capacity building, knowledge and expertise exchange, and try to focus to hold events related to Contemporary Social issues faced by marginalized segment of society. At the end of MOU ceremony, both parties exchange tokens of appreciation. Participants from both entities reciprocated this MOU graciously.
