Students of the Department of Gender and Development Studies  organized an extension lecture on family laws at the Women Development Centre. The lecture was delivered by Mrs. Naila Mushtaq (Advocate, High Court).

In her lecture,she shared legal and social aspects of  family laws and highlighted the social and legal challenges in proceeding the cases of, divorce, maintenance and child guardianship. She also emphasized on the need of having awareness raising sessions for  youth  sensitization about their fundamental and legal rights.
