The Department of Electrical Engineering at Lahore College for Women University (LCWU) successfully organized a one-day Continuing Professional Development (CPD) workshop titled "Collaborative Robots in Industrial Environment" on December 7, 2024. This online event brought together electrical engineering professionals from diverse domains to discuss the integration and application of collaborative robotics in modern industrial settings.
The session was led by Engr. Warda Hussain, an esteemed IT Product Manager at Bayer AG, Germany. Drawing on her extensive experience, she highlighted the critical role collaborative robots play in enhancing efficiency, safety, and productivity across industries.
This event saw active participation from electrical engineering professionals across industries, offering them a platform to enhance their knowledge on robotics and its future in industry 4.0. The interactive session covered a range of topics including the principles of collaborative robotics, practical use cases, and future trends.
