Day 1

1st ever training/course in LCWU was organized to fulfill the eligibility criteria for PhD supervision. One 1st day (13th June 2024), all PhD faculty members of Faculty of Science & Technology, Faculty of Education, Faculty of Pharmaceutical & Allied Health Sciences, and Faculty of of Management and Administrative sciences participated in the training. The Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Shagufta Naz, Dr. Arham Shabbir (Director Academic Planning), and Ms. Huma Saeed (Controller of Examinations) were the resource persons. All the sessions were interactive which included detailed question answer sessions.

Day 2

The Training/Course to fulfill the eligibility criteria for PhD supervision was continued on 2nd day (14th June 2024). All PhD faculty members of Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences, Faculty of Islamic and Oriental Learning, and Faculty of Engineering & Technology participated in the training. The Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Shagufta Naz, emphasized that supervisors must show Academic integrity along with fundamental values of honesty, trust, respect,  fairness, responsibility, courage, and empathy. Dr. Arham Shabbir explained the Graduate Education Policy 2023 clause by clause and highlighted important new aspects of policy. Ms. Huma Saeed oriented the participants in detail about PhD examination regulations. The participants overwhelmingly showed their content and admiration for organising detailed training sessions. Congratulations to all who successfully qualified the training/course on both days.
