The Khadija-Tul-Kubra Business Incubation Center (K-BIC) at Lahore College for Women University (LCWU) participated in a seminal event titled "Berlin Startup Ecosystem: Expansion Program for Pakistani Startups to Berlin and Europe." The seminar, held on 18th March 2024, was jointly organized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) and Kinnaird College for Women (KCW), Lahore.
The seminar featured Dr. Talat Mahmood, Board Member of Executive Committee, Asia Berlin Forum e. V., CEO B2P.TecSol/B2P GmbH, and German-Pakistan Consultant, as the guest speaker. Dr. Mahmood provided invaluable insights as a resource person for the event.
The central theme of the seminar was Female led Entrepreneurship in Pakistan. It brought into light the women entrepreneurs and female research scientists who have made significant contributions to the startup ecosystem. Participants shared their startup experiences and discussed aspirations to expand their ventures to Berlin and other European regions.
The event was attended by distinguished guests including Principal Kinnaird, Prof. Dr. Rukhsana David, Prof. Dr. Ghazala Yaqoob Vice Principal Kinnaird College, Ms. Noshaba Awais Director, Research for Innovation, HEC, Dr. Maria Anjum, Director K-BIC LCWU, Mr. Waheed Khizar Sheikh, Hazrat Bilal, and Mr. Abid Latif.
The incubates and team members of K-BIC actively participated in the interactive session to gain knowledge in the dynamic field of entrepreneurship.
