5–6^th April, 2023. A two-day workshop was organized by LISA-LCWU in collaboration with the Directorate of Faculty Development & Internationalization (DFDI), titled: “Structural Equation Modeling (SEM)”. The resource person of the workshop was Ms. Jiya Amir, Lecturer, Department of Statistics, LCWU. Ms. Abeera Shakeel and Ms. Syeda Aroob Shah, LISA internees, assisted her in the workshop. The workshop covered theoretical and practical application of Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA), Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) and Mediation analysis using AMOS and SPSS software. Also, the concept of regression analysis was explained for the better understanding of mediation analysis. Participants from other departments such as Elementary and Teacher Education, Mass Communication, Geography, Gender and development, Management Sciences and Economics also attended the workshop. It was a great opportunity for the students and faculty members of LCWU to learn practical application of SEM.
