The Department of International Relations at Lahore College for Women University, in collaboration with the Alumni Office, orchestrated an enlightening mentoring session on (21-11-2023) Tuesday. Moderated by the esteemed Alumni Relations Officer, Miss Fariha Saeed, the session saw the gracious presence of Dr. Qudsia Akram, an Assistant Professor at Kinnaird College for Women and an illustrious alumna of the BS International Relations program.

The event was orchestrated under the patronage of Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Shagufta Naz and the guidance of Professor Dr. Shabnam Gul, Chairperson of the Department of International Relations, who welcomed Dr. Akram as the chief guest, highlighting her remarkable journey from student to success story.
Addressing the BS International Relations students, Dr. Akram expressed her gratitude to her alma mater for welcoming her back and shared valuable insights. She emphasized the significance of leveraging platforms like LinkedIn and professional social media to enhance job prospects. Stressing on the importance of both curricular and co-curricular activities, she shared anecdotes of how these elements shaped her career, encouraging students to build robust profiles. 

Professor Dr. Shabnam Gul commended her former student for generously sharing knowledge and inspiring the graduating batch. She expressed her pride in seeing her students excel in various societal roles, underscoring the joy of being a teacher witnessing such achievements. Dr. Gul urged students to draw inspiration from Dr. Akram and continue the legacy of excellence.
