An Entrepreneurial workshop was organized on 30th November 2023 by Faculty of Management and Administrative Sciences in Iqra Auditorium under the patronage of worthy Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Shagufta Naz. She admired the initiative taken by the Faculty of Management & Administrative Sciences. She also focused on the industry-academia linkages as well as the collaboration between LCWU and affiliated colleges of Lahore College for Women University. She also greatly emphasized on women empowerment by becoming job providers.
Dr. Adeel Nasir, Incharge of the department of Management Sciences conducted the Financial Projections session for the final year students of B.Com, BBA, and BPA. Affiliated colleges, Samanabad and Cooper road’s faculty and students also attended the workshop. The workshop highlighted the importance of finances in a business, emphasizing that financial assumptions in a business plan should accurately reflect the information and be reasonably accurate for new startups.
A marketing planning workshop led by Ms. Malahat Jatoi, concentrated on final-year students from B.Com, BBA, and BPA. Market analysis, target market and barriers were discussed in detail to help out final year students to chalk out their marketing plans for entrepreneurial projects. The supply chain workshop led by Ms. Asvir Naveed, provided invaluable insights into supply chain dynamics for final-year students from B.Com, BBA, and BPA. Main focus was on strategic planning and operations management for new startups. The practical applications discussed in the workshop aim to equip students with the knowledge and skills required for navigating the successful journey of their entrepreneurial startups in near future.
