The event, organized under the esteemed supervision of Professor Dr. Uzma Quraishi, Vice Chancellor of LCWU, took place at the university's premises. The ceremony was graced by Ms. Tanya Malik, Chairperson of the PCB Women’s Wing, who served as the chief guest. The PCB-HEC Women’s University Cricket Championship commenced on October 14, 2024, with a total of 22 universities from across Pakistan participating.
