International seminar titled, "Echoes of Leadership: Women's Imprints in Shaping Contemporary Arabic Literature," was organized by the Department of Arabic, Faculty of Islamic and Oriental Learning, in celebration of World Arabic Day. Esteemed scholars from Palestine, Jordan, and Iran honored the event with their presence.
Prof. Dr. Faleeha Kazmi, in her address, underscored the need to delve into the contributions of women's leadership in contemporary Arabic literature.The Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Uzma Quraishi, conveyed her appreciation to the organizers for hosting this significant seminar, which highlighted the value of collaborative research and academic exchange in the field of Arabic literature. The Chairperson of the Department of Arabic, Dr. Quratulain Tahira, received commendation for her efforts in organizing such impactful international events.Participants also admired the exhibition of students' calligraphy, curated by Prof. Dr. Masooma Zaidi. Selected calligraphy pieces were presented as gifts to attendees, further showcasing the students' artistic talents.
