The Department of English in collaboration with the US Consulate organized an Insightful One-Day Training for faculty on 29th January 2025. Amanda Adams, an acclaimed English language specialist, served as the facilitator. The training primarily focused on the innovative use of technology to create an intellectually vibrant atmosphere for students. 
Improving teachers' efficacy through using digital platforms, creating a student-centered learning environment, and fostering independent inquiry in students were some of the key ideas discussed by Ms Adams. The honorable Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Uzma Quraishi commended the Chairperson of the English Department, Dr Amara Khan, for organizing such an engaging training session, delivered the vote of thanks, distributed certificates to the participants and presented souvenirs to Ms Amanda Adams and Dr Muhammad Iqbal – English Programs Regional Manager.
