R&D Conducts Three-Day Python Workshop in Collaboration with LISA
The Research and Development (R&D) section of DFDI, in collaboration with LISA, successfully organised a three-day workshop on Python. The event aimed to equip participants with both theoretical insights and practical applications of the programming language, which is gaining increasing prominence in research across various disciplines.

Dr. Sehar Saleem and Miss Noor Shahid, both lecturers at Department of Statistics, LCWU, served as resource persons for the workshop. They provided hands on training and guidance to participants, emphasising Python's role in modern research methodologies.
A significant number of faculty members from LCWU and other institutions, along with students, attended the workshop. The event aligned with R&D's core objectives of introducing contempary research trends and techniques to enhance the research capabilities of faculty and students.
The workshop concluded with a certificate distribution ceremony, where Prof Dr Zohra Nazir Kayani, director of DFDI, presented certificates to the resource persons, the R&D team, and participants. The initiative was widely appreciated for it's contribution to fostering a research-driven learning environment at LCWU.
