Poster Display on Social Issues
Department of Mass Communication, LCWU held on November 12, 2025.
The Department of Mass Communication, LCWU, organized an engaging Poster Display on Social Issues prepared by BS students. The exhibition showcased students’ creativity, critical thinking, and sense of social responsibility through powerful visual storytelling
The event was inaugurated by our Worthy Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Uzma Quraishi, and held under the supervision of Dr. Zaeem Yasin (Chairperson) and Dr. Bilal Nawaz (Assistant Professor).
The event was graced by the presence of Prof. Dr. Amna Moazzam, chairperson Department of Applied Psychology, Mr. Anwar Khan PRO and Mr. Sheikh Ghias, SEO
The students’ posters highlighted a range of pressing social issues, including gender equality, environmental degradation, digital addiction, education inequality, child labour, mental health awareness, and climate change. Each display combined strong visual aesthetics with impactful messages, reflecting the students’ deep understanding of contemporary challenges faced by society
The exhibition provided a platform for young communicators to express their perspectives on social reform through media and art. It also aimed to encourage critical discourse among students, faculty, and visitors on how communication can drive positive social change.
The event concluded with appreciation from the Vice Chancellor and faculty members, who commended the students for their thought-provoking ideas and artistic expression.
