The Department of Biotechnology, LCWU, hosted an Interactive Session titled “Opportunities Beyond Borders” in collaboration with ORIC.

Our guest speaker, Ms. Sabahat Fatima, undergraduate student and alumna of the Summer Undergraduate Research (SUR) Program at the University of Lausanne, shared her inspiring journey to Switzerland and guided students on accessing international research programs, global fellowships, youth leadership platforms, and effective networking.

The session highlighted practical tips on choosing the right labs, writing competitive applications, and building a global profile. Students appreciated the motivational insights and found the session highly valuable for understanding how to step confidently into global opportunities.
