·         Students of BS Home Economics participated in dry and fresh flower arrangement competition on 12th March, 2020 organized by University of Home Economics, Lahore. One of them got 2nd Position and other students won different prizes.

·         Students of BS Home Economics participated in 7^th annual floral competition on 19^th November, 2019 organized by Department of Botany and Botanical & horticultural Society at Lahore College for Women University, Lahore. Students received certificates and won prizes and awards.

·         Students of BS Home Economics participated in the 6^th annual floral competition organized by the Botany Department and botanical & horticulture society at LCWU, Lahore on 1^st March 2018. A student of Home Economics stood 1^st position, got certificate and shield.

·         Students of Home Economics participated in Pak International Culinary Festival (PICF) on 9^th March 2018 at Alhamra Cultural Complex Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore. A student won Gold Medal and others got certificates in cooking competition.

·         Students of Home Economics attended an awareness seminar and participated in a poster competition "world health day" arranged by The Punjab Food Authority in collaboration of Punjab Institute of Cardiology on 10th October, 2018.

·         Students of FA Home Economics participated in mother and child health show and cooking competition” organized by Queen Mary College, Lahore with the theme of “tea time snacks (sweet and savory)” at faletti’s hotel, Lahore in October 2018 and won 2^nd and 4^th prize.

·         Students participated in chrysanthemum show 2018, cut flower arrangement competition organized by horticultural society, Government College University, Lahore at Jilani Park in collaboration with Parks & Horticulture Authority Lahore on 28^th November, 2018. Students won prizes and got appreciation certificates.

·         Students of BS Home Economics participated in food competition organized by Punjab Food Authority at University of Management and Technology, Lahore on 29^th, November, 2018.Students made calcium based products and got appreciation certificates.

·         Students of BS Home Economics participated in cooking queen of LCWU competition held in November 2017 organized by Persian Department at LCWU and one of them got 1^st position.

·         Students of BS Home Economics participated in cooking competition organized by tourism development and co-operation of Punjab at institute of Hotel and Tourism Management held in November 2017 and stood 2nd position, also won cash prices of Rs. 5000/-, medals and shields.

·         Students of BS Home Economics presented their ideas related to wheat allergies and nutritional bites in All Pakistan case study and innovative ideas held in December 2017. Students were highly appreciated.

·         Home Economics Department along with the director of Students affairs participated in spring festival in 2017 in different arrangements.

·         Mrs. Yasmeen Mudassar received award as a member of Jewry Committee Chemical and Horticulture society LCWU, Lahore on 3rd Annual Floral Art Competition held on 26th march, 2015.

·         Students of Home Economics department participated in conference “Role of Women in promoting Peace and Harmony for a better Pakistan” on 19^th March 2015 at Pearl Continental Hotel. The event was organized by Apwa Youth College, Lahore. Students of Home Economics Department actively participated in the flower arrangement and candle ceremony of the event. Students got great appreciation from audience.

·         Students won 1^st, 2^nd and 3^rd prizes on dry and fresh flower arrangements on women’s day 8^th March, 2015 at Apwa Youth College, Lahore.

·         Students won 1^st, 2^nd and 3^rd prizes on dry and fresh flower arrangements on 3^rd annual floral art competition held on 26^th march, 2015 by LCWU.

·         The students of Home Economics participated in cooking competition at the occasion of International Chef’s Day on 20^th October, 2015. The theme for the competition was “Healthy Kids – Healthy Future”. Our students of Intermediate and BS won second position. They  were awarded with certificate of participation and a gift hamper including items such as: cash prizes, clock, apron, key chain, pens, mug, rice pack, ghee pack etc.

·         Students of Home Economics participated in Chrysanthemum flower arranging competition at Bagh-e-Jinnah on 6^th December 2014; Student won prizes of 2nd, 3^rd and conciliation.

·         The students of BS home Economics participated in cooking competition at the occasion of International Poultry Expo-2013 on 27^th September, 2013. They won first, second and third positions in various categories and were also awarded a gift hamper including cash prizes, shields, clock, apron, key chain, pen, mug, rice pack, ghee pack etc.

·         Students took part in a walk related to nutrition awareness on 24^th November 2013. The walk started from liberty round about to main market. It was an important step toward creating awareness among public. Its purpose was to aware people about nutritional values and to make them realize that at what point of health we are standing today. It was 30 minutes’ walk. The girls of Home Economic Department represented college and their family members also took part in this walk. Colorful posters and banners were also carried by girls to promote the purpose of walk.
