One day seminar organized by department of Punjabi on “550th Birth Celebration of Baba Guru Nanak Dev Ji” at Lahore College for women University, Lahore in I.T hall. The Chief Guest was “Mahinder Pal Singh” (MPA, Parliamentary secretary of Human Rights and minorities, acting Minister of Minorities). Worthy Vice Chancellor Prof, Dr. Bushra Mirza, Mrs. Fraheeha Basit (Dean, Sabiha Mansoor institute of language and culture) and Dr. Mujahida Butt (Chairperson Department of Punjabi), Focal person of seminar warmly welcomed honorable chief guest. Program started with recitation of Holy Quran by Sadia Arif Naat was recited by Ms. Anila Sarwar (Ph.D. Research Scholar) research paper were presented by Dr. Mujahida Butt (Baba Nanak Dev Ji da yugh) Satwant kour (Baba Nanak Ji dy zanani bary wichar) Dr. Samina Batool (GuruNanak ji de shairi wich sufiyana fiqar) Dr. Hina khan (Baba Guru Nanak di juney ty wichar dhara) Dr. Maryam Sarfraz (Baba Guru Nanak Dy samajh sudhar wichar). At the end of seminar Director (ILC) thanks audience and honorable guest MPA Mahindar pal Singh appreciate the efforts of LCWU and Punjabi department for the efforts to unite all minorities. At the end of program certificate and gifts were awarded to all participant souvenirs and certificate were also exchange with worthy vice chancellor and honorable Mahindar Pal Singh.
