Mrs. Aysha Faisal, Assistant Professor, Department of Geography, LCWU has successfully completed her PhD from University of the Punjab, Lahore. Dr. Aysha accomplished her PhD degree after approval of her thesis titled ‘Identification of Ecosystem services in big cities of Pakistan: A case study of Lahore under the joint supervision of Prof. Dr. Safdar Ali Shirazi, Chairman of Department of Geography, PU and Dr. Abdul Majid, Assistant professor, Center for South Asian studies, PU. Her research achievement is very important for the well-being of communities. She enlightened an entirely emerging thought-provoking idea towards nature-based solutions.
