Physics Department of Lahore College for Women University organized a Writing Competition in May 2021 under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Zohra Nazir Kayani (Chairperson Physics Dept., LCWU). 26 students of the department participated in the competition. The winners were also awarded cash prizes with certificates. Prize distribution was held in Vice Chancellor’s office. The topics of writing were:

·         Islam and Physics

·         Latest Discoveries in Physics

·         Interesting Facts about Physics

Winners of the competition are:

·         1^st Position: Anum Ameen for writing on “The signs of Black Holes”

·   2^nd Position: Sadaf Batool for writing on “Islam and Physics”

·         3^rd Position: Uzma Sadia for writing on “Interesting facts about Physics”

Consolation prize: Fatima Shahid for writing on “Magnetic Graphene”
