Department of Sociology celebrated International Woman's Day at LCWU on 7th and 8th March 2022 under the patronage of Dean of Social Sciences, Prof. Dr Muhammad Afzal with the gratitude campaign by presenting blooming flower pots to all administrative and academic Deans, Directors and HOD's. The Head of the Department of  Sociology Dr. Asma Seemi Malik with the faculty members and members of Sociological Society of LCWU, presented a box of flowers to worthy Vice Chancellor.

The students of Sociology Department collected used plastic cups and recycled them into artistic flower pots. A token of appreciation was presented to all administrative and academics Deans, Directors and HOD's to acknowledge their support in growing together as team. This campaign was a gesture of recognition for men and women under the theme of gender equality today for a sustainable development.
