18-03-2022: Lahore College for Women University, Department of Geography arranged one-day National Hybrid-Symposium on "Geomorphological Studies of Salt Ranges" was jointly organized by the Department of Geography Lahore College for Women University and Department of Geography and Geomatics University of Peshawar on 18th March, 2022.
The indoor technical session was followed by field based Geomorphological studies at selected sites of /near Katas Raj Temple, Choha Saidan Shah and Khewra. This Hybrid-symposium was conducted under the kind supervision of legendary Geomorphologist Prof Dr Mahmood ul Hasan (Ex Chairman Dept of Geography University of Peshawar). The symposium was attended by Teaching faculty and students of LCWU, teaching faculty and students of Dept of Geography University of Peshawar as well as Govt College Kot Momin Sargoda (under the leadership of Prof Umar Farooq) and Govt Postgraduate College Mardan (Dr Muhammad Ayub, Prof Abdul Wahab and Prof Ibrahim).
