2nd–6th May, 2022: Lahore College for Women University continues its achievement internationally. Under the dynamic leadership of our Vice Chancellor, Professor Dr. Bushra Mirza and Dean Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences, Professor Dr. Muhammad Afzal, Dr. Asifa Kamal and her team including Ms. Asma Zeb, Ms. Abeera Shakeel and Dr. Naila Amjad proudly presented Lahore College for Women University (LCWU) at LISA 2020 Sustainability Symposium held on 2 – 6 May, 2022 at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Kumasi, Ghana organized by the University of Colorado Boulder USA’s, Laboratory for Interdisciplinary Statistical Analysis (LISA) in cooperation with the USAID Accelerating Local Potential (ALP) Program. Stats labs that submitted proposals for the Sustainability experiments had been invited to attend in-person, symposium and share their experiments results and lessons learned. Dr. Asifa Kamal and her team presented the proposal and preliminary report comprising of experiment results and findings of activities expedited in the Sustainability experiment held at LISA-LCWU in the first quarter of 2022 entitled; “Can Four Wheels (Webpage, Office, Collaborators and LOI) Drive LISA-LCWU on Sustainable Track?” and won the best talk and best executed strategy award among the participants from all over the world. The work was very well appreciated. The symposium provided many opportunities for social connections, enhancing collaboration skills and implementations of plans for sustaining the LISA 2020 Secretariat into the future.
