On December 13, 2023, K-BIC hosted a seminar titled "Technology Entrepreneurship with Robots." Esteemed speaker Dr. Francesco Maurelli from Constructor University, Germany, delivered talk on what does it take to build a robotics/ AI start-up? How can we bridge fundamental research and practical applications using low cost sensors? 

Ms. Fareeha Younas, Chairperson of the Women Empowerment Committee at Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry LCCI, delivered a compelling talk on women's empowerment and highlighted importance of entrepreneurship in addressing global challenges.  The event was led by Dr. Maria Anjum, Director K-BIC, and K-BIC Team including Ms. Farah Saleem (HR and Finance Officer), Mr. Yousaf (Business Development Officer), and Ms. Nadia Tahir. Student Entrepreneurial Club led by Ms. Sherman Shehzad (President) and team facilitated the participants and organization of the event. The event was attended by prospective cohort teams and students from various departments. 

Department chairpersons, Dr. Sadia Murawwat (Electrical Engineering Department), Dr. Mohsin Nazir (Software Engineering Department), and Dr. Saima Farhan (Computer Science Department) attended the session along with faculty members including Dr. Taskeen Raza, Dr. Ayesha Iqbal, and Dr. Fatima Anjum. The event culminated in an engaging Q&A session, fostering intellectual exchange. During visit of university facilities, esteemed guests admired the efforts of Prof. Dr. Shagufta Naz, Vice Chancellor, LCWU, and LCWU faculty for empowering women through education and opening pathways for future endeavors.  Later, a meeting was held with K-BIC team to discuss opportunities for future collaborations with foreign partners and LCCI.
