Department of Sociology, Lahore College for Women University, organized a Policy Dialogue on the Way Forward in Addressing Child Labour in Punjab in Collaboration with Search For Justice-CAN,

In celebration of International Human Rights Day Dr. Zohra Kiyani (Head of Physics Department) on the behalf of Vice Chancellor LCWU Dr. Shagufta Naz and Mr. Nadeem Ashraf (Member Punjab- National Commission for Human Rights) graced the event as chief guests. Professionals from different social and developmental organizations and academicians from the renowned universities participated in panel discussion and policy dialogues. 

Faculty members of Sociology Department Dr. Kiran Ikram, Ms. Komal Riaz Cheema, Ms. Ummamah Munir and Ms. Shifa Butt along with the students attended and participated in the event. At the end, Dr. Asma Seemi Malik (Head of Sociology Department) concluded the discussion. Token of thanks and appreciation exchanged from both sides and shields were presented.
